There is little you can do after unprotected sex to completely prevent pregnancy, except have access to a morning after pill.

However, urinating after sex, for men and women, can help prevent Urinary Tract Infections (Bladder Infections), because bodily fluids can get forced into the urethra during sex. Urinating helps to clear those out.

And to the person who said that you urinate from a completely different opening than you use for sex, that is not entirely true. Most women will find, if they explore their genitals with a mirror, that their urethral opening is just inside their vaginal opening, or extremely close.

There is no way peeing would keep you from getting pregnant. Your pee hole and your sex hole are totally separate! Plus sperm are really fast are are long gone up there by the time you make it to the toilet. If you are in a moment that lacks any birth control and any self-control, have your partner withdraw before going. This is certainly not fool proof, but the statistics show that it's almost as effective as a condom at preventing a pregnancy. Of coarse there is still close to a 10% chance you will get pregnant and a REALLY good chance you'll get some nasty STD. But it's the best bet for situations like that.

No, the reproductive system is seperate from that. You can prevent urinary tract infections though. There is no way to prevent pregnancy after having unprotected sex unless you go to the local clinic and take the "day after pill." I would suggest not having sex if you are unclear of these processes because if you are asking this I'm betting you are too young for it. Rethink your decisions. Unprotected sex can give you all kinds of sexually transmitted diseases. Some don't show up for weeks, months, or even years afterwards. If it doesn't bother you to hurt your on body, think of finding that one person you love someday and want to spend your life with. How will you tell them if you had contracted something?

No, those little things are star athletes and are great swimmers. I peed every time I had sex (because I needed to not because I thought it could prevent pregnancy) and am 17 weeks pregnant. It's the same reason you can wear a tampon, they are two very different openings entirely. Also, the womb protects the sperm very well.

17 weeks pregnant with first

No, it does not. You pee from a totally different opening than what you have sex in. Also, having unprotected sex just doesn't cause pregnancy, it causes diseases. Protect yourself if you are going to have sex.

I hope you're kidding. It absolutely DOES NOT protect you from getting pregnant or from STD's.
You have different 'holes' for having sex and for peeing.

Nope, that is very untrue.. otherwise wouldn't women use it as a form of birth control? Only use this if you expect to get pregnant!

Are you kidding?

Maybe you should go talk to your parents or big sister/brother or something. Don't get in to anything you can't handle. Sex is in the big leagues.
