90% of all the parents won't buy you a cell phone after the first three tries.Fact which was proved by many generations of teenagers :) All the 13th year of my life was spent to make my parents buy me one. My problem self destructed immediately after I started attending courses after school. My mum understood there's no another way to contact me and finally gave up. Now I'm in the phase number two: "Dad, I do need this pocket PC, would you please buy me one?" Try to find something that will convince your parents. Nothing else except buying it yourself works. Plus show them that you are responsible enough not to lose it!!!
Good luck!

getting my kids cell phones was the best thing i did for myself i know never have to wonder where they are or when they will be home i just call them

show your parents you are responsible and can Handel it and not run up the bill ask them what you can do to help to pay the bill if you are not old enough to get a job out side of the home let them know it is a way for them to keep in contact with you no matter where you are or what you are doing

for your first one, dont ask for an expensive one. your best bet would probably be to ask for a prepaid phone because your parents can easily control the bill without worrying about you going over your minutes and the phones can be really cheap. one at walmart is like $15 and its small. whatever you do dont sound like your whining or theyll block you out before you even say anything. and dont use the excuse everyone has one.

My daughter is 12 and she is doing work around the house for money and delivering pamphlets. She has her phone picked out and knows if I buy her 1 she won't appreciate it as much as if she bought it herself. I respect that as a mum and I pay her a little extra each week. She has set out a list of jobs and what she thought they were worth eg basket of washing, hang it out bring it in and fold it $5. So far she has raised $100 for the phone she wants. Maybe you could do the same or you could tell your parents that a phone would come in handy if they needed you urgently.

This is what my daughter did....Keep her room clean for months...Help out also around the house without being told... Brought her grades up...Learned how do do the laundry (she 15 lol)

So after she did all that and kept asking. (about 1 year) I got her a phone for Christmas....She now has to keep everything up. Or we will take it back.

I forgot to add...It was about 80 bucks at walmart & she buys the phone cards...

Good-Luck :)

only tell them which you quite choose a telephone to call them once you at the instant are not with them, I mean maximum youngsters have cellular telephones with the aid of 14. additionally tell them which you at the instant are not searching for some thing it rather is fancy or has infinite. in the event that they do no longer agree ask for one for christmas. Santa might deliver you one(:

You get a job, save the money you earn, and say "Mom and dad, I'm buying a cell phone."
