I believe that people should have the freedom to choose on whether or not they date outside of their race. I'm for interracial relationships, otherwise I wouldn't be here, and nor would my daughter. No one has the right to tell another person that they can't be with someone else because they have a different skin color.

I agree with Britldy. The success of a court case involving a white man and black woman decades ago opened doors to the acceptance of interracial marriages here in the USA. However, most people still marry within their races, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I think it is a lot more accepted by people, however the US still has a long way to go to catch up with countries like Canada and the UK...where nearly no ones feathers get ruffled.

I think it is becoming more acceptable, but there will always be someone wishing that it was still illegal. I don't really care one way or the other people have to do what makes them happy it doesn't affect me

I think that interracial mixing is terrible and everybody should stick with their own kind. Yes people are a lot more open minded to it then in the past but that's a bad thing, were also open to everything bad like homosexuality. Black Americans who are not even pure blooded Africans no more because of so much mixing really shouldn't mix because we are getting lighter and lighter. That's why Black Americans numbers in the country are stagnant and soon may decline. Same goes for Native Americans, they are on the verge of extinction so they really should be preserving their race. I don't think it should be illegal, people should just want to be with their own kind like it was before white supremacy infected the whole world and made people of color worship them.

I have been with a Chilean man for over 5 years now. I am a light skinned/ blonde Italian. I see nothing wrong with interracial relationships. It's beautiful. My Italian family would prefer for me to be with an Italian man, but they love my guy anyways....it's more of a tradition thing with them.
I can't stand it when people judge others because of who they choose to date or share company with. It's ignorance and it needs to stop.

No problem with them unless they're only pursued because the one person (usually black) thinks that his/her own race is inferior therefore purposely finds any partner who is not in his/her race. But if it's founded off the basis of true love then there's nothing wrong with that.

Sure it's more accepted, but it's still considered a taboo. I know people who wish their children would stay within their race just so they won't have to deal with everyone else's crap. I'm very happy with my boyfriend, though, and I can't see myself with anyone else. I don't care what other people think.

It depends. Some interracial relationships are genuine but sometimes they're motivated by shallow stereotypes, fetishes, "curiousity", self-hatred, etc.

There's nothing wrong with interracial relationships, I've been in a few myself. Interspecies relationships though are just plain wrong.
