In which of the world countries can a person go on the dole for long periods, maybe 2 years or more?

Only in Europe, I would imagine. What about the UK? The Netherlands? Sweden? Denmark?

I can only tell you about the UK and France and in both countries you can draw long-term unemployment benefit for more than 2 years, but have to keep actively looking for work.
