does anyone have any ideas on why our society is so sreewed up an it seems to be getting worse.

i agree with you that society is screwed up. sorry though, i dont have an answer its just the way it is.

The short answer is that it's screwed up because it is supposed to be. Throughout history, different societies have had their share of strife and ours is no different and CERTAINLY no worse. There has always been and probably will always be war, ignorance, prejudices, tyrants, oppression... you name it! We go through periods where it all gets much worse, followed by periods where it seems better. And at all times, there is somewhere that makes any given society seem more like heaven or more like hell than it actually is. As long as there are people who have different religious beliefs and opinions and priorities and standards, society will be screwed up. To remove that would be as unnatural as removing our differences.

Where would you like to start? I don't know if you're just asking a general question, or if you had something specific in mind. Since we're in this particular category, I'll answer thusly:
A lot of men (and women) have serious issues about their sexual identity. What I mean is, a lot of guys have to sort of "convince" themselves that they're "macho" as opposed to effeminete. They have to look tough, act tough, participate in rough sports, and generally be sure that their interests, actions, wardrobe all proclaim that they're "macho."
One would think that someone from the WWF had written a handbook for them.
Let me tell you a true story. I was at a major music festival, and one of the hundreds of vendors was selling this totally cool "utility kilt." Don't think plaid - this was heavyweight material that looked like you crossed cargo pants with a kilt; as if it were British military gear. They came in black, khaki, camo, even leather, and they weren't cheap. I had to check them out.
One of my buddies asked,"where you going to wear that?"
I answered,"anywhere I damn well please."
See what I mean about "sexual identity?"

Thats because people are so close minded. Nobody is protesting for peace anymore since John Lennon died. Its something that will go on and on forever. Its sad that were ridiculed for being a human being with our own minds. Just be you cause you are beautiful!!

i also wish i didnt have to suffer through the shxt that society puts me through for my being bi.
it really sucks but nothing will change.
all we can really do is ignore it and let it pass us.
