I was walking around at 3cm, my doctor told me I wouldn't make it to my next appointment. I had my son at 38 weeks 3 days. Nothing you can really do. Walk a lot, try having sex.. but baby will come when he/she is ready. So as hard as it is, try and be patient.

Your doctor can induce you if you beg him. But that labor may hurt more. There are herbs called Black Cohash and Blue Cohash that midwives sometimes give to start labor. But I've heard some reports that it could hurt your baby or cause liver damage. Some risk free things that help include: bumpy car rides, long walks, and sex. But make sure you're past 37 wks and don't have a condition that these things would hurt! I know how you feel. I'm dying to get my labor going myself. But I keep trying to remind myself that the health of my baby is most important.

The only thing that works is sex or lots of walking and cleaning the floor and walking stairs, but you're due in a week, why are you stressed? Take it easy and enjoy the quiet, try to sleep a lot because once the baby is there, it's over with the sleep for a while.

Walk alot, have sex, go on a bumpy car ride, clean alot, like vacuum. Just be careful. These are things I have heard. I don't know if they work or not. Someone said to eat Lasagna. I wouldn't think that would work but I got to thinking and remembered I ate a lasagna dinner the night I went into labor. Wouldn't think that would be what made me go into labor but maybe. Good luck

You are still a bit away from your due date. Don't rush things. If you are 3 cm you should go on your own soon. walking or sex might help.

I lasted at 4 cm for almost 2 weeks, so it may happen foryou by then.

Let her come when she is ready. Trying to force her out by any means isn't natural and could do her or you harm.
