Ken Howard played Jordan's Father in the first few seasons of Crossing Jordan. He also played in a series years ago called WhiteShadow about basketball. He must be past 50 and I don't think he is related to Ron Howard.

He was a high school basketball coach in The White Shadow a late 70's TV show. More recently, he played Jordan's father (with a terrible Bahs-ston accent, imo) on the show "Crossing Jordan".
I don't believe there's any relation with Ron Howard.

He may be related, I can't remember, but he is best known for his role as the coach in "White Shadow" a 70's series about a high school basketball team. He also played basketball and 6 foot 7 at that time was a giant.
