Some feminists claim that men start the wars, commit the crimes, do the abusing of women, molest the children, therefore................all men are pigs.
Wait a minute, a small percentage of men do these things. Most men don't do any of the above, and these men are also the victims of the wars, crimes, molestation, and corporate greed that are committed by a these few men. If you're a feminist, please call your sisters out when they use faulty logic like this. More about the lack of acknowledgement of the average man to come.

Um, Baba Yaga, this question is valid solely on the basis that it's impossible for all men to fit these criteria. Now, if you disagree, you're more than welcome to provide the evidence to back up your claim. Until then, you're just cranking, as you put it. As for PortWine, I think she has a valid point about categorizing all mmbers of a demographic (eg., saying ALL women are gold-diggers), simply because of the actions of a few.
I've seen you answer quite a few questions, but not once have I seen you say anything to infer that females are not the only ones that are persecuted or get the short end of the stick, so to speak. Instead all you do is either call the person with the temerity to disagree with you a crank, or you disappear.
Face it: women are not the only ones who are discriminated against, and it's unjust for you to assign weight to one group or the other. Your rebuttal, please, but I suspect you'll either ask for evidence or call me a crank.

Answer to your quesiton: no they don't. As to your other point: feminists do do this. Most are quite reasonable and thoughtful persons. You might want to pick up an issue of Ms. magazine sometime if you want to a true reflection of what feminists think about men and women and our contemporary society.

some *people* tend to over generalize. i think it's human nature. but i do try to avoid it at all costs (how hard is it to put in the word "some"? eh? and really understand it?!). and i try to point out over generalizations when i see them. but people are human, and i beleive it's human nature to categorize, however faulty the categorization is. doesn't make it righ, but helps me not get too bent outta shape over it ;-)
personally, i am annoyed at the generalizations made by some here in Women's Studies, about feminists as being butch lesbian man-haters that are responsible for the decline of western civilization, so i can see where you're coming from!!
i agree, almost everything bad that people attribute to a 'group' of people is done by a severe minority of that group and doesn't represent the views and morals of that group itself. such as in your example & mine, as well as the whole 'muslim=terrorist' thing.

PortWine my compliments and i'am very happy that you have decided to ask these questions for better awareness.
The respnses that you are getting from females that you are getting should tell you that they really dont differrentitate or dont want to.
You and the male sex have to show them the difference and also the fact that the man who doesent do all this will not take what is to be dished out to those few bad guys.
If we have to hitback be it physical or any other aspect the male gender has to first overcome that.
Rest is easy and the feminists know that and the time is ticking for a taste of their own medicine.

This is a straw man argument. Name the feminist and the quote and we can give you a better answer as to whether their claim is justified. Don't be intellectually lazy.
