Go to a lingire store or major department store, not a discount store like wal or k-mart, and have a fitting done. The clerk will measure you, help you pick out a bra in your size, and then assist you with adjusting the straps.

Get measured by someone who really knows what they're doing. I just got measured by a great place here in Atlanta yesterday, and you wouldn't believe the difference it made in just a day as far as comfort is concerned. I wouldn't trust Victoria's Secret.

I don't know where you are, but try to find a store with a lingerie department with someone who has been fitting bras for a very long time rather than for the past two months after college classes. The way VS would measure me puts me in a 44D, which did nothing for my figure, plus the straps were always falling off my shoulders and things were shifting around. My new bras are a 38 G (yes, I'm full-figured), but my clothes look so much better now, and I didn't have that "oh-my-god-I-can't-wait-to-get-home-and-get-this-damn-thing-off" kind of feeling.

Even if you're not full-figured like me, finding the right bra makes a big difference in how your clothes look on you. It's well worth the trouble of finding someone who knows what they're doing.

Go to a professional bra fitter. Most high end department stores have them and the service is free. Let her determine your appropriate size, then try on the bras in your size and pick the most comfortable. Buy one and wear it for a while to see if it really feels right.

go to a store like victorias secret or a department store like macys and ask them to measure you because most women wear the wrong sized bra, i forget the statistics but it was a large amount. and then ask them which style (or brand if you are at a department store) they would recomend for your size afterall they work there, they should know best!

hope this helps.

It depends what you are going to be wearing; a tee-shirt then you need a smooth bra, something with cleavage then you need a push-up, there is strap-less, the list goes on. I love Victoria's Secret for their variety and they also help measure you.
