It's the number one show on the E! Network and currently shown in the US, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The series focuses on the lives of Hefner's three girlfriends who live with him at the Playboy Mansion: Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson. Holly (who is 27) is actually considered the #1 girlfriend - yes, that does sound very ridiculous, with the other two having their own rooms and her sharing one with Hef. Lately, there has been talk about her wanting to have a baby with him, and he seems to be considering it (that is IF it's even physically possible since he's 80 years old). Ironically though, she does seem to be the one to actually care deeply for him.
Basically, the viewers get to see the different events held at the mansion, (movie night, themed parties, and different girls who have been in the magazine). Today all three girls have been on the cover twice and had multiple spreads within Playboy, along with their own clothing lines, jewelry, guest appearances on the Sports Network, The View, etc.
I don't condone the lifestyle they lead nor do I agree with swingers, although it does make for interesting TV just to see the completely different day-to-day lifestyle they live versus the average person. They are known for wearing pink, and also elaborate costumes, along with extremely long blonde hair (although all three naturally have brown hair). Two of the girls are actually quite smart, with Holly working on a double major and Bridget (who is in her early 30’s) completing her second master degree. Kendra is the youngest and also the wildest, being only 21. I believe she is working on finishing a license for massage therapy.
Now I believe you can say you know everything you wanted (and probably more than ever needed) regarding the Girls Next Door. LOL

It's Hugh Hefner, the president of the whole Playboy enterprise--he started the mag, and the bunnies, and the mansion, all that stuff.

He used to have seven girlfriends--now that he's a little older and taking Viagra, he's cut it down to 3 girlfriends. None of those chicks are Playmates--I saw a thing where one of them said she wanted to be a Playmate (get a spread--ha!--in the magazine), but Hef wouldn't let her.

I think it's gross, but whatever--if they all consent and like it, they can do what they like. The three of their ages added together probably isn't as old as Hef.
