There are so many things I could say, like pollution, or technology or sin or something. But I think the most important is this:

People do not understand love. But if everyone were to love one another and respect one another and the world were filled with love, that would end up fixing everything else you could possibly answer this question.

When I say love, I don't mean making love. I mean patience, kindness. Not being jealous, not proud, not boasting, not being rude or selfish. Not easily angered, but forgiving. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Loving when you aren't loved back.

Thats the only problem and the only way to fix it.

Once the 3 minute mile was broken, lots of people could get past that concept that it was possible

So I would like people to trust that good family relationships are possible. It may take some effort, but families are the first place individuals learn to receive love and love others (as a baby, as a brother or sister, as a parent)

Oh, for good family experiences to be the norm

The consciousnes level of all humans, upward, and especially that of the psychopaths who "run" the planet. The latter would require substantially more "tweaking" based on even a casual observation of their agendas and behaviors. :-)))
