If you have babies, you know what tank they like, just like you have it.

The yolk sacs should absorb in 2-3 days. Once they absorb and the baby fish are swimming is when you start feeding the babies.

Any size larger than 10 gallons will do. I strongly suggest a tank size known as a "20 gallon long". This is 30 inches long, 1 foot high and 1 foot front to back. Convict cichlids seldom use the water more than 1 foot above the substrate so a tall tank is a waste of money. A 15 gallon long is okay, but less desirable. A 10 gallon tank is much harder to work with and I encourage you to get something a little larger (about $30)
You need a 100 or 150 Watt heater. I recommend the heaters made by Ebo-Jager.They work consistently and with no surprises. I know all sorts of other brands promise all sorts of things, and I have tried many of them: consider buying an Ebo-Jager. (about $25)
And a gravel siphon is crucial to your success!
It will take 2-4 days to absord the yolk sac.Start feeding fry with microworms, Artemia nauplii, and fine grade dry food after they r hacthed. The eggs hatch after 2-4 days and the fry start to swim after 6-7 days. They are able to eat freshly hatched artemia from then, but they will also eat all sorts of flake foods if it is small enough - you can crush the flakes between your fingers. Be aware though that they become extremely aggressive towards all other tankmates when they have fry and there will be several tough fights over the fry. To avoid this you can remove the eggs from the parents when they spawn, to ensure that they remain somewhat peaceful towards other fish in the tank, but that off course also mean that you won't have any fry and that you won't see the eminent fry care the Convict provides for their young.

I would recommend at least a 30 gallon tank for Convicts. 10-15 gallons is far too small.
