I wouldn't vote for him, since he is:

Extremely liberal.
Pro-affirmative action.
Pro-illegal immigration.
Member of a racist Black church.

PS: I forgot that he voted against a proposed law banning Congressional nepotism.

First off, his name is Barack Obama. Doesn't sound a bit like Osama Bin Lauden to me! One is black American, the other is Saudi Arabian. Obama is Christian, the other Muslim. Osama has a 25 million dollar price on his head, Obama has no price on his head, he is not an offense to this country. Obama has one wife & two children, Osama has numerous wives & any # of kids.
Obama lives in America & is not in hiding, Osama can't be found.
I wonder if we took the bounty off of Osama's head if he would come out of hiding? That sure would be a slap in the face for him, knowing that we don't consider him worth anything!

Well, even though their names are kinda alike, there are more valid reasons to not vote for him. First of all, he only has 2 years of federal experience in office. Secondly, he has not really done anything in that time to warrant him the ablility to be president. He is also VERY left on issues. I am a republican and would never vote for him anyway (at this time). He needs a little more experience as a senator before I would even consider voting for him.

What in a name? George Bushes middle name is Washington. See how unrelated a name can be to reality?
The only fear we should have of Obama is they might stop him or maybe he will not look at all of our rights and focus on black issues. Besides this, he might be our last hope for a candidate not part of this phony left right paradigm.

I think that is a bit short sighted on your part, its only a name. I wonder, you would not vote for bush because it sounds like a part of the female anatomy? Sounds to me like you need to do some research, see what he stand for on issues, rather than just not vote for him because his name is Obama.

I know!!! Plus he's black! Did you know that? I mean, a brown person in the white house... brown people scare me.

And that Hilary Clinton!! SHE has a VAGINA!!! People with vaginas can't be president!

Seriously, crawl back under your rock and stay there. You can come back out again once you figure out how to judge political candidates for on their political stances, not for superficial reasons.

Bush is a cooler name than Gore or Kerry, based on your question I would assume you voted for Bush and for that reason only.

Listen to the first answerer and don't ask a stupid question like this again. Get a REAL REASON next time if you want to say something against someone.
