i have a dog as a pet, but i want to have (someday) a caracel cat; they are about 45+ pounds. they are really affectionate,! and would kill someone if their owner is threatened, they will claw through a wall to get to you if you leave them.

A dog. It is the most loving and loyal creature I know of in the animal world. I don't think that I could ever know another animal that is so forgiving to it's steward, and so happy to see me come home any time. Even at five minutes the creatures will greet me like I've been gone for five days. A dog, any dog. They are a beautiful animal. They are a gift to us from God. And they are a grand gift indeed.

If I could keep any animal as a pet it would be, a Grey Wolf. I have always had a fascination with wolves. There is just something about them I like.

The one I have - an orange tiger tabby. He has the personality of an agreeable lap dog. Toilet training took 2 seconds. He goes in and out as he pleases, and so I never have to walk him or fuss with his litter box (he uses it maybe 6 times a year). No claws, no nuts, no fights, no bites. Now, if only I could get him to cook supper.... :-)

A meerkat because I love watching the TV show about them on animal planet on Friday evenings . They act so cute with one another just like a big family looking out for one another.

I would get a lion. I guarantee nobody would break in or call me a wimp for being a "cat" person.

A baby bear any kind panda,polar,koala. Of course only if it stayed little and sweet. They are so cute though.
