And in the fascist in training mode, attempted to centralize power, in an early rendition of the "unitary power of the president" scam. Of course his terminally corrupt sidekick, Spiro, did get booted fairly early. It took a while to get to "tricky dick", post watergate. That, of course, is only the "down side" . The upside? Hmmm. Give me a while. Oh yes, he "opened" china to the west. Could it possibly be that his counterpart psychopaths there merely felt that the time was appropriate, and any president would have served their agenda? Of course, he did have a high i.q., i hear. But that's no substitute for a decent heart and consciousness level, eh? :-))))
