i have to write a short fiction story by tomorrow. i dont know what to write about?!?!?!?!?!? any ideas? 10pts for best one!

Run with what you've got. Right now, you are under the gun. Why not write a story that takes that idea to the max? A neurotic but extremely gifted famous writer has a deadline. What extremes does he go through? What does he do to get the job done? Have a surprise twist ending. Maybe he was in the psycho ward the whole time and never was a writer at all?

When time is short, write about something you know. For example, if you have ever had a pet, write about a particularly interesting event involving that pet. If you have siblings, write about a party, game, etc. that you were involved in. If you are in clubs or organizations, write about one of them. If you have an interesting ancestor (and everyone does--a person doesn't have to be famous to be interesting), write what you know about them. I am absolutely NOT a creative writer, but was able to muddle through by writing about an actual event in a somewhat creative way.

Pick a time or your favorite hero in history and craft a story around an event in their life. For instance, I would pick Queen Elizabeth I, and would write about how she sat in the Tower of London waiting for her sister Queen Mary to decide her fate.

Write about something that interests you and you'll get it done quickly and have fun with it.

The day the town got snowed in and no one could get out.
The angel that crash landed into my yard.
The lost dragon who couldn't find any friends.
My best friend's invisible.
The dumbest genie who never got anyone's wishes quite right.

write a historical mysery (ex: the mummy's curse)
write a diary of a girl
write a story about a girl who loves nature
