I am looking to buy a home that's located right across the street from a middle school. I searched onliine, but couldn't find anything pertaining to it. I'm sure traffic will be terrible in the morning, but it would be quiet on that street in the afternoons and on weekends, not to mention June, July and August. Just wondering...thanks!

Hi, this is a good concern!
As a feng shui consultant may I give you a general recommendation to keep looking around. Personally I have lived in a house that backed on to a school and yes the traffic was bad at peak times in the morning and afternoon.
From a feng shui perspective the energy around a school is very yang or active. When the children leave and especially so around holidays, the energy is very yin or passive. This causes constant imbalance around your house and the energies are either very strong or weak, which can affect your living environment.
It is not to say that the house is no good as you also need to take into consideration the size of the property. If it is a big property with lots of shelter from the school then it may be ok etc.
