So clearly the guy has never been an all-star but he had some good seasons with the Saints and could have done better this year had he not been sacked 26 times in less than 7 games. now that the Raiders have released him will he find a home as a starter or decent back-up or is he done.

He'll likely be a backup...All the teams seem pretty much resolved as to either having their QBs, or QBs of the future, or who they are going to pick in the draft...Its tough, cause he is one of the good guys...but he did have his time with the Raiders, and it just didn't work out...even though it was hardly his fault...I would release the entire offensive line if I were Al Davis...I don't know why he isn't keeping Brooks to back up Russell...Tuiasisopo or however you spell it doesn't seem to have a handle on the offense...

When Favre retires, the Packers are going to need somebody to backup Aaron Rodgers...The Broncos need somebody to backup Jay Cutler...Who is Romo's backup in Dallas?...Bledsoe will be out of Dallas before next season, just as Plummer will be out of Denver...Hell, he could give Carr a run for his money in Houston...Who is Carr's backup anyway?

Aaron Brooks is a horrible QB with the decision making abilities of a two year old (I think I'm insulting toddlers) Most top ten of worst and most stupid plays in football history have him on there at least twice.

Who can forget the -15 yard pass to an Offensive Linemen which was returned for a TD by the opposing defensive

The Saints put up with Brooks way to long! I'm glad Oakland has the common sense to let him go

he is done because he is not an NFL caliber QB. He led the saints to 1 playoff win. He was horrible with the raiders and everyone knew that. He would land a job somewhere but it will be low on the depth chart.

I don't Know or Care, the Raiders are going to get Demarcus Russell in the Draft and Pick Up Micheal Vick as a Free Agent.

he could possibly end up as a backup in Tampa Bay or Cleveland, but his starting days are well behind him. If you can't make it on the Raiders (look at Andrew Walter) than you just probably can't make it. I know he was sacked x amount of times, but Oakland is one of few cities where mediocrity is considered great.

QBs in the NFL are never done. Just look at Jeff George. He will catch on somewhere as a backup maybe someday he will be a starter but it is unlikely.

he will get a job as a backup...there are just no open QB jobs at the moment, and everyone will look at his performance in oakland and in his last few years with new orleans and shy away immediately...he has some talent but as someone else said is a very poor decision maker

He will get an offer. Maybe he is a better back up. He will last in the league as long as he wants to.

He's done. He's overrated. He was never that good to begin with. He may be ok as a back up somewhere like TN........
