2 Elephants are sitting in a bath tub. One elephant turns to the other and says: "Please pass the soap"
The other one says: "No soap Radio."
I heard that joke when I was a kid and I still don't get it. Do You?

It's actually a joke for kids. So I am not quite sure it's intended for a group of people.
Unless it's made to make the joke teller feel superior to a bunch of children, which is just not funny at all.

The joke is made to be told amongst a group of people, one of whom doesn't know that the joke will not make any sense. When the person delivering the joke gets to the punchline everyone laughs, except the poor guy or gal that isn't ''in on it''. Apparently you wre once one of those people. Cheer up, because now you are ''in on it!''

It might be a very old joke from back when the soap operas were on the radio. Even then, it doesn't make any sense, though.

it's a setup...it was created as an experiment to see how many people in a group would laugh even though it makes no sense....it shows the effects of peer pressure to conform to other people reactions.
