I believe that you have an excellent shot at the tight end position for several reasons. Since the TE is on the line and helps to block on running plays, your size should be an asset to your team. Also, as a TE, on passing plays, you don't have to go as far down field as a wide receiver. Your options at the TE position are much better for your size than trying for the WR position. Good Luck.

At 200 pounds, speed would be a concern at wide receiver for high school. However this sounds like great stats for a tight end. As a freshman, making the varsity football team shouldn't be too easy, so 200 pounds for a JV player might make you more suitable for an offensive guard, but you should be able to try out for whatever position you want. You should work on your speed and pass-catching if you plan on being a wide receiver or a tight end. Good luck.

During the first few days of practice you'll be put to the test in different playing areas. The coach is the expert. He knows what's the best position for you pending on your speed and agility. He may also ask what position you want to play. If you want to play a certain position, work at it and show him you can do it. If you have a natural talent he'll see it and use it.

Not tight end because you said you dont have too much fat. Tightends have to be bulky. Also make sure you memorize all the plays to actully be able to play reciever. Lift weights. Good luck man I am trying out for the same position.

To give you advice, that is a perfect position for for a guy around 200-250 pounds, because your not that fat,and if your tall you have an advantage over the blocker. So yes there is a 9-10 chance youll get that position.

Best Tip: Try not to gain weight or loss weight.Casue your perfect for your position.

That's a good size for free safety. Wide receiver is a possibility but tight end would probably be out. You'd need to bulk up some.

depends how fast you are. my guess if you are REALLY fast you would go at either WR or Corner. if you are a little slower then i would bet Saftey or Tight end. but i would realy have to see you and your abilities before i can make a sound decision on where I THINK you should play.

depends on how fast you are.
4.4-6 you should play wide out
4.6-8 you should play D end tight end or linebacker

your ht might allow you to play WR, but at 200 lbs are you fast enough? TE is a possibility, but you have to be able to block and be big and strong. perhaps you can play DL or LB.
