Superman! Here's the tale of the tape: http://www.batman-versus-superman.com/

Usually, out of those two I'd say Batman is better, just because he does have to think on his feet to get by--the lack of powers means he has to bring his A-Game, at least when the writers take him seriously. Where with Superman, you almost kinda hope he's *not* thinking on his feet and hope he does screw up, as he's so powerful otherwise that you nearly have to crush the world with a big honking rock before he's challenged in any way.

Or....you can look at it from the other way. What's the worst that's ever happened to Batman, in creative terms, in terms of bad versions of the character? Yup, the Adam West "version" from the 1960s, "Bat-tussi" and all....

Now....what's the worst, the *very* worst thing, the worst version, that's happened with Superman? Bizarro? Nope. The Dean Cain version on "Lois and Clark...."? Not even. The government stooge version from Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns"? Getting warmer...but still no.

Is it the Michael Pillow *clone* of Superman, the Nuclear Man, from "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace?" Getting warmer...but no.

To get this one you have to think *inside AND outside* the box at the same time. The parody wasn't an official Superman clone the way the Nuclear Man was (grown from the cells of a single hair from Superman's head), but was still *inside* the box--as in on television.

Stupor. Duck. As in, a parody of Superman, courtesy of *Daffy Duck*. Yes, the Batman had his Bat-Mite, and Superman had his Mxytlplk, but come on....you know someone somewhere thinks you're a joke when a cartoon *duck* makes fun of you directly. Or a mouse (Mighty Mouse) or a dog (Underdog). But the Daffy Duck version was definitely the worst ever....not just by being first, but by being the most insane, over-the-top, *and lame* at the same time.

Trust me....Batman, even at his worst, most insulting parody interpretation of the character, is better than Superman at *his* worst. Definitely.

Personally I'm a fan of Batman, he's not as goody goody but as far as powers go, it's superman all the way. Batmans fancy gadgets are no match for supermans indestructability. Even though superman cannot be around kryptonite he always seems to get away from it. Batman is just a human with fancy toys, a vengance in his heart, and fighting skills. Superman would win in a fight. And I swear I'm not a nerd.

Batman hes human and he can still do the same stuff as all the other superheroes even without powers. Superman is just way too unrealistic i cant relate to him at all hes just such a goody two shoes it drives me crazy plus where would he be without all his powers. Batman has a darkside hes not a big dumb boy scout like supes. Lois lane must be insane to have picked Clark/Superman over Bruce/Batman.

Definitely Batman because even though he doesn't have powers, he's more dark and isn't Mr. Boyscout like Superman is. And by the way, this is so not a stupid question.=]

I let my son read to read your question and to give me his answer.

He says Superman is better, then Spiderman comes next. Batman is just o.k. he said.

I think my son is smart for a 10 yr old.

It's alright, we all get bored at times, and ask silly questions.
