such a thing was plausible. And that persons could go to such lengths and cause the death of thousands of people in such an awful way. No it cannot be true.

What can I say: Conspiracy theories are everywhere.

These folks don't exactly get their news from FOX do they? Not even ABC, not even the NY Times...or the Inquirer for that matter.
No, these folks get this conspiracy stuff from extreme left wing nut sites.

Bush had enough reason to go war if he wanted to. Numerous other countries had said that Saddam had WMD's and that he was a threat. The UN had been trying to work with him for 12 years and finally someone had to put their foot down.

That said, I've seen the conspiracy go from "Bush was clueless about what to do. He should have raced from the classroom screaming but he is such an idiot that he just sat there and looked shocked." to "Osama was actually here on 9/11 and Bush sneaked him out because they're buddies." to "Bush created the fictional pictures of planes flying into the buildings but actually had them demolished himself."

I'm not sure what's next. Maybe we'll see photos of Bush having tea with Satan. Or Laura Bush is actually an animagus who turns into a wolf every Friday to feast on the flesh of dead rats.

No, dear, it's not true. No motive, no proof, no nothing. Ask them to provide their sources and you'll find out it's someone with computer access living on a psyc. ward.

To the dude who said steel can't melt...interesting assumption. How is it made into other stuff? Do the workers have super powers from Batman or something?

To the dude who said the owner of the buildings knocked them down - why not do it at 2 am when the buildings are relatively empty? And why blow up the Pentagon? To cover his tracks? Or did he involve Big Foot somehow. He's GOTTA work into this on some level. Or aliens maybe...

Syko Ward - I rest my case.

Some of the stuff they say is pretty plausible, but then you get those nut bars that go about preaching and it blows all the conspiracy away... so after watching a documentary i was convinced that it wasn't an inside job, cause all the people that said it WAS an inside job were all strange people that seemed as if they were hit on the head a lot... But there is too much secrecy to make it seem like it wasn't an inside job... i mean, why ARE there so many things that make it seem all suspicious?

Don't forget what America did to Japan cause they didn't give America what they wanted...

It isn't true. Look at every big event in modern times. There is a conspiracy theory for every event. Like how Princess Diana was murdered, how 9/11 was an inside job, how Columbine was a mind control experiment, that Iraq was invaded to push towards a New World Order, and that Prince Charles is the Antichrist. Don't buy any of it. I used to believ some of those thoeries, but I no longer do, after looking at the facts, and having some common sense.

I don't see why it's not plausible. I mean, if the government didn't do it, terrorists did, so that right there makes it plausible.

As far as the government doing it to their own people, yeah, that's hard to swallow. But I also refuse to underestimate the greed of humans, and a few people closely tied to the administration have profited greatly from the resulting actions taken by this country post 9/11.

To answer your question, yes, some people do believe it was an inside job.

Me personally, I'm undecided. I just look at it as a horrible, horrible tragedy, regardless of who caused it.

I think that 9/11 was an inside job. I heard of this some time ago,but didn't give it much thought, than like last year, a friend of mine gave me a documentary to watch called 9/11 revisited. From there my curiosity grew. Since then I have watched many more docs. and read a couple of books, and I am convinced that it was. I think most people are scared of this because it is out of their control, truthfully it is scary to think that our government could have done this. I f you are interested in this subject at all I wouldn't recommend watching Alex Jones videos first while they are good, I think he is a little intense, and if you were sitting on the fence on this one you would probably not believe it.9/11 revisited and 9/11 mysteries are good to start.

That is how they get away with it. Look at history, from the Reichstag fire, the sinking of the Maine, etc... there are many examples of how nations will attack themselves under a 'false flag' and blame their enemy. It is how the dirty end of international politics has been played since the dawn of time. Today;s leaders are no different from the leaders of the past. Look at Operation Northwoods, and then look at the recent downing Street Memo where Bush and Blair where going to paint a military transport plane in UN colours try try to tempt Saddam to shoot it down.

Deception is how wars are started and fought. Do not think living in a controlled democracy means that the leaders are any better then those who live under a monarchy or even dictatorship.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

Look at the Project for a new American Century. They were hoping for a 'new pearl harbour' in 1999 as a pretext for everything that the USA has done since 911. policies planned prior to 911, that could not have possibly been enacted had it not been for 911.

Did Bush have anything to do with it? Not at all, he was kept out of the loop on that day, but the neo-cons who have been running the show ever since were in a position to have the means, motive and opportunity to carry these attacks out. Through the CIA they have been running Mujahadeen fighters in Afghanistan, they trained and funded and armed them during the 1999 Kosovo conflict. The KLA where our freedom fighters, made up of Al Queda operatives.

Some of the Hijackers where trained at US Military bases, The US Government had many many many warnings form foreign intelligence agencies from Russia, Germany, Egypt and many other places that these attacks where going to happen, The USA withdrew protection, pulled back FBI investigators and put everything in place that would allow the attacks to happen. Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld changed the standard operating proceedures in June 2001 for intercepting hijacked passenger aircraft. so that since that date, only Cheney, Rumsfeld or Bush had the authority to send intercepter fighter aircraft to intercept and shoot down aircraft. before that day it was routine to intercept off course passenger jets.

There where 5 defense drills happening that say that had fighter bombers over Alaska simulating a soviet attack, it had false blips of hijacked aircraft on the radar screens at NORAD. there where actual aircraft faking hijacks in another exersize and in another exersize there was an attack on the pentagon and twin WTC towers. That is how a confused stand down was played out. there where 2 squadrans of fighter aircraft ready at Andrews AFB on the morining of 911. They where not scrambled to protect the pentagon only 10 miles away.

There are many questions that the mainstream media will not ask about that day, for the answers would be far too disturbing, and too many people would refuse to believe them.

Well Boudicca you want to open your eyes & ears.

Those buildings were also blown up from the base & fell almost within the footprint of the buildings.

There is no way that a plane crashing at the height it did to bring those down like they did.

Those buildings were designed & built to withstand the impact from planes.

There are a load of evil people in the US doing things around the world for personal gain omly.

It didn't take much for your President to bribe our little man tony blair to add a little bit of credibility but most of us also see through that.

Wake up.

That's funny. I think it's unimaginable that two planes could drop two massive towers in less than 4 hours when buildings have burned for over 48 hours without falling and their structural integrity wasn't nearly as tough.

Do the research. 911 was an inside job. The smoking gun is the missing plane at the Pentagon. Planes just don't incinerate into nothing.

No saying it's true, but there are a lot of fishy things about it, and similar things have happened over the course of history. People are capable of doing some pretty horrible things to get what they want. As a wise man once said, "Just because you're paraniod doesn't mean everyone isn't out to get you."
