Years ago, when I home-schooled my kids, I attended a seminar and found that there are three distinct learning styles:

1. Audial - you learn best by LISTENING
2. Visual - you learn best by OBSERVING
3. Kinesthetic - you learn best by DOING

Mine is #3

Honestly, no-one on here can really answer that question for you, but you yourself. It does sometimes take time to find the discipline, the instructor, or the circumstances that suit the indiviudal. You may have experienced difficulties at your prior school for any number of reasons including poor instruction, lack of focus in classes, or lack of maturity on your own part. That may not be the case now. Best thing to do is take your time and don't rush the decision. Go to all the schools in your area and check them out. Talk with the instructor/s and explain your concerns and just listen to them. Watch some classes and chat with students in the classes you would attend. Ask if the schools you are interested in will allow you to train in a couple of classes as a guest to "try it out." Once you find somwhere you want to train, and an instructor you want to learn from - expect some up's and down's :) Some things will come easy, and others will be difficult. That is what makes the journey worth while. If it was easy all the way, would anyone really be interested. It's actually the stuff that is tough, that teaches you the most and generally advances you the farthest. Good luck in your search! Ken C 9th Dan HapMoosaKi-Do 8th Dan TaeKwon-Do 7th Dan YongChul-Do

Visual is easiest for me. I'm not very kinesthetic and audial is too fast for me.

A combination of the three, but if I had to chose just one, I think the most effective one for me is #3.

Kinesthetic
I only learn by doing it is impossible for me to learn by just listening but form time to time I can learn with just watching but the best way for me to learn anything is by doing it.

3 for sure. 2 next, then 1. Actually, the others are fairly equal.
