My sister just got earings and she is only 6!! I am 7 years older then her and I dont have my ears peirced. My question is the should I get ear peircings? I am afraid that it will be painful. Please dont say "its your choice" tell me if i should get them or not.

my ears are different sizes. so i am afaid that when i get hoops or long earings they will be different lengths!!!!

I would say YES! most deffiantely get them!
Okay...so my mom got my ears peirced when i was 4 months old..and personally i do NOT think that was cruel of her. That way ya...sure i probably cried a little...but i was a baby they always cry. And i was over the pain in like 2 seconds. I dont even remember it. lol
I'm thankful for my mom getting my ear's peirced so early.
Then when i was 11 i wanted to get a second peircing.(2 in each ear)
And....personally i dont think it really hurts that bad. Ya...it stings a little but i have a pretty big toleration for pain.
I think you should 100% get your ears peirced! There are just so many cute earrings that you can buy!

Well let me tell you the truth.
I got my ears pierced (the bottom holes) when i was about your age. . . i passed out when i got it, but i am very faint-sensitive. they really don't hurt.
I got my ears pierced for the second time (second holes) when i was in 7th grade and those hurt a bit more, but those were in my cartlidge.
I don't regret getting my ears piered at all, i love earings & i think it is totally worth it.
---> heres a bit of advice: when you go to get them piereced, ask to have two people do it at the same time (places like piercing picota in the mall will do this) so they will both shoot (i know it sounds scary) the earings in at the same time and it will be over a lot quicker!!!

I go thtem when I was 3. It's a little painful but just a pinch. What the guy did to me was peirced my ear and then asked if I was ready. I had no idea he did it because it diddn't hurt at all.

If you would like to get them get them because its your body and you are the person who has to take care of the piercings. I say go for it, but that's because I'm a professional piercer and REALLY love my job.
All piercings hurt and that's something that just goes along with it. There really isn't anything you can do to minimize the pain just keep in mind that the piercing is done and over with very quickly and the pain is definitely tolerable. Good luck.

Sorry, but it really is your choice. I had my ears pierced at 13, couldn't take changing the jewelry (it made me queasy), and now I'm 22 and have my nose pierced, but never want to do my ears again. It's really a matter of personal choice.
Advice - if you get it done, go to a tattoo/piercing parlor, not Claire's in the mall.

It doesn't hurt as much as everyone says or doesn't say.It fells like a little shot.And if your like me shots don't hurt that bad right?So I'd go for it girl.The place for me on my ear that hurt the least when I got it peiriced (I've got it periced 4 times) was my cartlage at the top of my ear.If I were you I'd get it peirced at your cartlage at Wal-Mart.It is cheap there and it only costs $9.45 at Wal-Mart.Or professional.Don;t believe that crap about it hurting either.Take it from someone who has had hers peirced 4 times.IT DOESN'T HURT!And a tip is if you get it done one ear at a time it doesn't hurt as much.But I'd go to Wal-Mart to get it peirced at your cartlage.Good Luck Girl!

don't get them done. you only seem to want them done because your sister has just had hers pierced. having your ears pierced hurts a little but no more than pinching your ear hard would. it's amazing having pierced ears - but wait until you Know you want them done rather than having to ask people on a website.

i got mine when i was 7 months, but i cryed, because i was only a little baby who was 7months. but when i was 2 years ago i took off my earrings and and got them repierced from my grandma and all she did was put alchohal in my ear hole that was almost colsed and put the earring. it didnt hurt. but now my ears are sensitive so i dont wear them anymore.

OMG! i just just got my ears peirced yestorday! it doesnt hurt! go to claires! it doesnt hurt at all! its like a pinch! I PROMISE IT WILL NOT HURT! i got my ears peirced twice! i got one done when i was 3 months and i got another done just yestordayâ¥

No; if you're not able to make up your own mind, then you aren't able to deal with taking care of pierced ears.
