It is not called carol of the bells. It is called Christmas Eve. The song is a mixture of two or three songs, the two i know of for sure is Carol of the Bells and God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman

"Christmas Canon" is the very beautiful song that I hear every year. I have a feeling that is the one you are speaking of with the children s choir singing. It happens to be one of my favorite Christmas songs, too.
