Oh, everything in your body gets screwed up when pregnant...relax!
It is normal to feel 'abnormal'.

Try not to sleep during the day. You have mucked up your sleeping patterns.
If you are wide awake at night - simply get up and watch a movie or read a book. You will fall asleep eventually. If you don't exercise, now is the time to start. IF you are physically tired you may sleep better and in the long run if you are fitter you will lose your baby weight much easier.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one! I'm only about 7-8 weeks and I have the same thing. Our bodies are going through a lot of changes right now. I've just come to except the fact that nothing is normal during pregnancy! ;) Good luck.

It's nothing to worry about. I remember sleeping all around the clock. I could have slept through my entire first trimester. Do you work during the day, if you need to be up during the day you could try taking tiny naps so you can have a more restful sleep at night.

Completely normal... and probably totally unrealted to thyroid. Its probably just that you are worried about the baby and all that has to do with it. I had it a couple of weeks ago until I told myself It did me no good to think about it all night, rather to work on things, and sort them out during the day. Try to stay out of bed until it is sleeping time. Congratulations on the baby and good luck!!!

ya you get all wacked out when you get pregnant...lol no worries...you'll be fine...take the time at night while you're wide awake to read up on those baby books...cause lord knows that once baby comes ...it will be a long time before you ever have any quiet time to yourself to read again!

sometimes pregnant women have that problem. Try eating a banana, or drinking warm milk, or eating berries. the bananas and warm milk have seratonin which will help you sleep. Berry's will calm you down if you are anxious, so you can get over anxiety.

The natural way of getting to sleep alot easier is to drink warm milk.
I know you've probably heard that before but it works.
