im thinking of joining a softball team or a swim team. would that help

If ur tryin 2 loose weight dont try 2 starve ur self jus exercise, no sweets or lots of sugar,drink water, eat fish yogurt and vegies

Of course it would help! Any physical activity is better than sitting on the couch. The swimming and softball will help in the cardiovascular portion of weight loss, but you should still try and do weight training as well. Get some free weights and one of those exercise balls and start doing stuff with that. Another good way to get started in weight training is to join a gym. Also, take lots of protein when you're doing the weight training.

A key to losing weight is to burn off more calories than you take in. So, if you eat less than you use, then even very little activity will automatically make you lose weight. Cardio excercise is the best type of physical excercise for burning calories; typically try to do 45 minutes a day (things like running, biking, swimming, etc.) However, muscle burns more calories than fat, so building some muscle will help you burn more calories with the same amount of work. Also, try not to eat after 7 or 8; eating too close to sleeping leaves food in your stomach, which gets stored more than burned. Good luck!

Watch what you eat and sometimes in the morning you can exercise.
