How can I make it show the actual video? I asked this question in a different category before and nobody knew the answer. I'm hoping someone here will.

get the new windows media player 11 and install it. i used to have that problem.

i'm facing this problem too
some one told me that i need to download some extra codes that works with windows media these codes are divx and codecs but i didn't try hope this can help you

You are missing a video CODEC. You can download free CODECs by going to Google and typing
FREE CODEC
Pick one.

go to google and look for K-LITE codec pack, download and install the full pack and you should not have any more bother
