The Ducks tied for the most points for a team in their expansion season.

The Ducks had a better record in 1993-1994 (expansion season) than the LA Kings, who had made the Stanley Cup finals the previous season

In the 13 seasons since the Ducks have joined the league, they have had a better record than the Kings 7 times.

They have made the Stanley Cup Finals, coming within a game of winning it (2003-2004), made the Western Conference Finals (2005-2006). There are some teams that haven't even made the playoffs in that time.

Until Edmonton in the 2006 Playoffs, Anaheim was the lowest seeded team (#7) to make the Stanley Cup Finals, and beat the 1 and 2 seeds on their way.

Anaheim has 2 goalies who have records in the playoffs - both for longest playoff shutout minutes streaks (Giguere 2003 and Bryzgalov in 2006).

The Ducks have made efforts to put winning teams on the ice. They aren't just glitz and glamor like the Los Angeles Kings are.

Something tells me that you're a Kings fan, so that is why you're making outrageous statements.

The Ducks aren't even close to being the worst team in NHL history. (And I am not a Ducks fan.)

There's very little chance an NHL team will ever move to Portland. People who say there is have no knowledge of the arena situation or the market.

The University of Oregon (Ducks) aren't in Portland, although they are in Oregon. Eugene is 2 hours away.

Have you even been watching them the past couple of years? You must be insane. They have 418 total points in their past 5 seasons, and have been to the Stanley Cup finals. There are more than a couple of teams that haven't even made the playoffs a single time in that span. Overall, there are also plenty of teams with worst franchise records than Anaheim, and Washington holds the record for the very worst season ever in the mid-70s. You need to do some more research before you come on and make statements like this.

I'm sure the movies don't help things..

That being said, the Ducks aren't that bad, all things considered. They did get to the finals a few years back, and they have had some good squads over the years. I'm not sure who I would dub the worst NHL team ever, but I doubt I would pick them.

The Ducks aren't the worst team in NHL history. Don't know where you get your information from but I can tell you that you need to find a new source because the source you use now is terrible.

beg pardon, Grasshopper. If use "Worst", need to define how so.

Worst single season record? No, see Ottawa Senators and Washington Capitals

Never made playoffs? No, see Atlanta and Columbus

Not reached Stanley Cup Final since expansion? No. Try Toronto, San Jose, Ottawa, Phoenix

Historical Long String of not making playoffs? No, try New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings

Question does not make sense, please provide how you came to that conclusion.

And no, they are NOT moving to Portland. Not now, not soon, not ever.

Have you been hiding under a rock all season? I think that's the only excuse you can give for your ignorance. The Ducks are one of the best teams this year.

He must not like the Ducks; they are one of the best; how about an educated question instead of a rant. Who is your favorite team anyway?

uhm just a question...
where were u a couple years ago when they were in the stanley cup?
and are you paying attention to the standings? they were number 1 for a while.
and last, they are not going to be the ducks for much longer. the new owners don't like it.
