Personally, I back a few teams that I like, but I consider myself to be an all-around fan of baseball.
Just curious to see what everyone else thinks about this?
Also which is more important, backing your team or loving the game in general?

I'm a fan of the game. It's in my blood, always has been and always will be. I would watch a game between the Royals and Orioles on a 13-inch black and white TV in mid-May over watching the NBA Finals from courtside seats.
My dad and I have always bonded over the game and it's a big part of our relationship. So I'm always a supporter of the game in general, but I do faithfully support the Minnesota Twins and I respect plenty of other teams as well.
Long story short...

I am an all around fan of the game, but there is only one team that I support - the KC Royals. In my mind, backing your team (or teams) and loving the game in general go hand in hand. If you can't back your team, especially when they're down, how much love can you really have for the game. And if you truly love the game of baseball, what could possibly happen to make you not cheer for your team?

I would consider myself a big fan of the game in general. I enjoy watching a baseball game no matter who is playing and I try to keep track of all the players in the league. It is easier to follow individual players than it is to be a fan of all the teams I feel. That being said, I grew up in Minnesota watching the Twins, so I will always love them and have a special preference for them.

I love baseball. I love to watch games and follow stats. However, I am a loyal Texas Rangers fan.

The love of baseball in general is much more apparent in me than my love for the Yankees. But don't get it twisted, the Yanks I represent and we'll see you all in the World Series this year.

I do love baseball but I love the Cardinals way more! Im a die hard fan from St. Louis!!!

I would have to say that the game of baseball is the reason to watch. However, I do love the D'backs & the Mets

I think both are important and necessary.
Plus you need one team that you just hate.

i like alot of teams but my fave is nyy their the best
i support all them though
