Does lifting weights help you in track? I heard that squats, deadlifts, and power cleans help you but I want to be sure. I'm a sprinter and jumper.

Absolutely, weights never are a bad idea. Some people get weary of bulking up, if thats the case do lower weight at higher repitions, this will definately tone you.

yea it helps u staii energized.u noticed when u lift wieghts n stuff at frst u feel tired den u feel light as a feather lik more um hyper so jumping will be easier n u will get less tired. *hope dis helped*

For sure soccer players do nothing but run all day and they work out their legs like crazy.
