Hello,
I brought my first Dell desktop when I was in High School, and now I'm moving on to college! So I need a better computer and I'm gonna have a laptop this time. Well my college said that it doesn't matter if I have a Dell or hp or whatever. But when I did some research last couple weeks, I found out that hp has more attractive deals and also cheaper prices.
So, I am ready to switch to a hp! Do you think this will be a good choice for me? Thank you.

My question to you is that, when you were using the Dell has it given you any problem? I've been using Compaq Armada Models & HP Presario, evo & n-series model and it gave me nothing but trouble. The guy who detailed Dell's advantage over HP is accurate. Why do I know this? I used to work for HP. Now I worked in another company and I'm using a Dell Latitude D410 Laptop. I am an abusive user and this little Dell laptop took all the punishment I can dish out without a hitch. It has already been more than a year now and not a problem occurs whatsoever. So my advise is stay with Dell. Look at the Latitude series.

I very dumb decision.
#1 Dell is now the best customer service provider, and they seem to speak better English than MOST Americans. So, if your laptop become defective, Dell will repair your computer under warranty without further questions.
#2 Dell is a better brand over HP. Plus, Dell laptops look more attractive than HP laptops and you can now customize your skims at Dell, even add your own personal picture over the LCD Back.
#3 Dell is the leading computer company world wide. They even bought Acer out.
#4 Dell touchpad feels more comfortable than HP, even more comfortable than Compaq, Gateway, Acer, Voodoo, etc.
#5 When you walk around with a HP, people don't think of you of being a laptop class person, but once you own a Dell, no one can mess with you, because not even MAC is half as nice as Dell notebooks.
What you need to know is that Dell has the best LCD revolution, best touchpad, and best customer service.
I would never, ever buy a HP over dell. Never... Plus, I recently purchased a Dell M 1710 over a Mac Pro. Imagine that!!!

They are generally about the same in quality, but HP has better technical support. If you intend to use Dell technical support, better learn a foreign language.

Just go alienware its better then most. Dont be afraid to spend some money!
