Yes, the ratings would go thru the roof, however, I do believe that she is under contract NOT to perform on the show with her record label...she didn't even want the contestants to sing her music while performing on AI...I think all of the winners whould come back for a reunion of some kind, just to keep them humble if nothing else, for if it weren't for AI, they would not be where they are today...

Fantasia Barino is going to perform on American Idol tonight. I cant wait. Fantasia is such a great singer and fiery performer. I dont think that Kellys management company will let her perform on American Idol cause its in her contract clause. It would be great though if she could. I would love to see her come back and perform on the show. I know that Simon Cowell stirred up all that controversy about Kelly not wanting the show to use her songs but it wasnt Kelly that was holding up her songs it was her management company that had everything put on hold because they were trying to get the songs copyrighted before giving American Idol the go ahead to use the songs. Kelly never had a problem with the show using her songs. Simon big mouth Cowell blowed everything out of proportion. American Idol got everthing straight with Kellys management. Once her managment got the songs copyrighted then they gave the show the go ahead to use the songs. Kellys management is the one who controls Kellys career.

Kelly wants to step away from idol, and move on with her career. Idol has moved Kelly through the door into the music business and she doesn't need any more help with that. And Kelly wouldn't come perform to get paid, that just isn't her.

I don't watch American Idol but if she was going to perform I would so tune in. I love love love her and I originally didn't like her cause of that horrible moment like this song but then once she got over the idol bump i loved her.
