I got a friendship ring for my girlfriend. It was purchesed in Bali. It was hand made there. It is a silver ring with a blue and white stone in it. I looks like it could almost be from the turqoise family. I would would have rememberd if it was as I wear turqoise my self. If you could please help that would be great. people have been asking her what it is and she has no answer to give. or if you know of an identifing stone site that would be great also...thanks

it's probably mother-of-pearl. if it has more of a white sheen to it, then it is MOP.
