I am a HUGE believer in fate!

Everything happens for a reason :-)

Sort of. I really believe everything you deserve will come to you, as long as you send out good energy.
I kind of thought it was fate when I meet my husband. I was on holiday in London to visit my mates. Went to crappy Loop bar and spotted my husband on the dance floor and instantly thought "f#ck me That's the one!" I thought it was fate. But I also believe you can change your future if you want. Fate does not invite that way of thinking, which is very depressing.

I believe that there is fate in some things, but I don't believe that everything happens because it was destined to. I hope that made sense...

I do. Many years ago, perhaps 10 or 11, there was a prayer of Mother Teresa in our Church bulletin. It hit me in a special way and I clipped it out. It has been taped to my kitchen cupboard ever since. Years later, I began working for an order of missionary priests. A year later, one of the missionaries from Tanzania came to stay with the order during his holiday. He has worked in Africa my whole life! We hit it off and I decided to go and see what the missions are all about. Since then, I have started a non-profit group to help a small village in Tanzania. My employer, by the way, gave me an ultimatum to work for the order or help the poor. It was a no-brainer. I really feel that my trip to Tanzania was an answer to that prayer that has been hanging in my kitchen for all these years. The prayer is this: Lord, make us worthy to serve the poor throughout the world that live and die in poverty and hunger. Give them, through our hands, their daily bread and through our understanding and love, peace and joy.

yes absolutely, everything happens for a reason, if I could give you a look back on my life then you would too. Other than that i would have to write a book because it seems like everything I do leads to another adventure, One door shuts and another one opens x

ahh the old determinism versus free will argument.

I am a firm determinist. It's a very good philosophy. look it up sometime, if you want more info on my perspective on it, message me.
