Basic info:
I am 24, graduated with BA in Management Information Systems and been working for 3+ years but with only 1yr experience in IT doing software troubleshooting.
I am easy going, adapt well and need to be in a city where there is something to do all the time

I want to move from Buffalo. NY to the city and my concerns:
Which part of NY would you suggest is good generally in Manhattan? Would you suggest living in the outskirts first like Brooklyn or Queens?Should I get roommates?
How hard would it be for me to get a job there with my credentials?
What's it like living there, experience sharing would be helpful...advise would be appreciated.

If you live in the country people are very friendly there so dont be afrade to open up to then and meet new friends. If you live in the Big city parts then it a free for all and watch you'r back and if you live in the outscerts of the city then you probobly are gonna meet new people a little slow but they will be nice you just have to find out who to hang out with. Dont talk about 911 and dont talk about desiners until you know what the people around you are into.

Are you crazy? Your personality traits are not those of a "City" person. I used to live there - I know!. Have you thought of someplace like Vegas(always something to do - it is a 24 hour city, the weather is "purrfect ", they're more open minded & geared towards you as a person in you age group. I'm really bad at explaining things, but I hope I was some help to you.

Check the Sunday NY Times for jobs in your area. If you want the real NY experience, live in Manhattan. You will need roomates because everything is very expensive.
