Well it really depends on the injury that you had if its uper body then to start getting your muscles back to normal again you need to do light lifting eg sit and watch tv with a tin of beans in both hands and just do a little lifting for a few mins a day then make them slightly heavier, that gets the uper body slowly back on track, Lower body best way is to start walking up the stairs every time you want to get up eg if you want a drink go up the stairs 1st then get one, then do a little further like to the l0cal shops if that still does not work contact someone in the local gym, hope this helps.

WALK. It's the best, least harmful, form of exercise there is. Just get out there and walk. Go slowly at first, and gradually each week pick up the pace and extend the time you walk.

Well i really love martial arts, maybe you would to you should check for some in your area. Try tae kwon do there is usually a good mix of guys and girls in that art. If you like wrestling check for jiu jitsu. You will find mostly guys in that one though.

not sure what type of surgery you had. unless you had both legs amputated, you should be able to walk the afternoon of the surgery or the next day. you have had plenty of time to get past the total recuperation time. get out and move.
