My daughter was going out with a guy who got her drunk and she lost her virginity. Her best friend at the time sread a rumor around throughout the school that she was pregnant which wasn't true. Her ex best friend admitted she was jealous because daughter had a boyfriend. That was a year ago. Now my daughter has new boyfriend and her ex and her ex friend are causing very big problems for her any. Last night her ex called her new boyfriend and told him hands off his woman. Now I'm worried that the rumours will start again as it sounds like her ex friend is very jealous of my daughter we don't know why. Any suggestions on how to handle this situation as new boyfriend is nice and treats her right?

Make sure that the new b/f knows the situation and then just ignore the ex's.

Think about these questions:

1. Does your daughter even like her ex anymore?

2. Have you talked to her friends and or mom?

3. Have you told anyone to stay away from your daughter if nessasary?

4. Have you talked to your daughter?

anyway, If you daughter is really mad at her ex friend make sure she doesn't try to get revenge because that will just lead to trouble. or if your daughter still likes her ex maybe let her go out with him.

Its more your daughters choice, not saying anyone in her family should stay out of it but she might want her space.

step in and talk to the ex, if your daughter is under 18. Explain to him that his behavior will not be tolerated and will lead to filing of a "protection from abuse" or harrassment. She does NOT need to be dealing with jealous people! Good luck!

I don't know your daughter's age and those guys' age but I imagine they are under age people so my advice is talk to those guys' parents and if this does not work look for a lawyer
