it depends when your graduation is and where. my high schools graduation is at night inside in the auditorium. so you can either wear pants or a skirt if you dont want your pants to show. you could also wear a dress that is mature but not extemely formal like prom. it wouldnt matter becuase you are most likely going home after. but if you are planning on going out after wear something cute so you dont have to go home and change.

if you graduation is outside on a warm day like in the morning wear a summer-y dress underneath so that afterwards you can take off the robe and talk to friends and other people.

Usually when you graduate your school sets a dress code for the ceremony. When I graduated we had to wear a black dress & dress shoes. But if you dont have a dress code a nice dress & shoes would be a goo thing to wear! Think church attire. I hope this helps! Good Luck :)

Just wear a nice simple dress with little decoration so it won't make bumps and bulges in the gown. High school gowns tend to be very cheap and lightweight, unfortunately. University gowns are heavier (you usually rent them instead of buying them).

Like a dress you might wear to go out to dinner with your family. Not something trashy like you are going out to a nightclub. Oh, and have someone order you a lei. Not a carnation lei but a lei made out of plumerias.

I wore a summer dress (straps instead of sleeves, flowy and light). But it was also fairly plain because I didn't want ties or lacey parts to make bumps in my graduation gown.

I would go with pantyhose rather then stockings. With it being graduation and all, someone might see that your wearing stockings.
