These cars where known to have very soft brake rotors,,they warp very easily,,changine them over to a non factory item is more expensive but usualy solves the problem.

Get your parts receipt on your last brake job. See if there is a part number associated with the installed rotors. The Chevrolet dealer here carries three different brands and part numbers. #1. is a GM no. #2. AC Delco, and #3. Some off shore rotor. Generally speaking domestic and off shore rotors are throw away items as there isn't sufficient stock on them for re-machining. Once they warp they'll do it again after light re-machining. Go for Wagner, NAPA, Car Quest's best American or Canadian brake rotors. If you install new rotors change pads also. Wagner Quiet stop, EBC or GM's best. Inspect the slide pins for the correct brake lubricating grease.

If the brake job is not done correctly it will cause brake pulsation to come back.
If you had the brake job done at an aftermarket shop......they
Use cheap parts
They will overtorque of the lug nuts which bends the rotors
You will see them do this by use of an air impact wrench to tighten the lug nuts without a torque stick to limit the torque
If you have your tires rotated at an aftermarket shop chances are they will do the above damage
When you have it done at a Chevy dealer....
They measure lateral runout and install correction plates at the time of the brake job to prevent thickness variation which causes pulsation
They will install the wheel using torque sticks which will prevent bending the rotors causing lateral runout

the brake rotors are warped, they either need turned down or replaced, GM doesn't use the best of brake rotors on their vehicles and they warp from the heat easily, as the one guy says you can buy a better quality rotor from the aftermarket and they will work fine on your car.

Probably rotors.
Have you or anyone changed tires since the brake job?
There is a sequence and a torque rating when you do, or you might warp them.
