I'm a guy and have a party tomorrow where the theme is "goth". I know the basic stuff they wear like black lipstick, white face, black clothing etc., but I want it to be a really good costume. I'm willing to spend up to $50-$75 for the costume so what can I do to make it the best it can be?

Goth guys don't wear black lipstick or white face makeup unless they're trying to dress like Brandon Lee. They do wear eyeliner. You don't have to dye your hair.
Goth is really no different than most styles with men, except that it's a little more dour. Longer coats (not necessarily trench--one goth friend of mine wore a black peacoat), dark trousers with longer legs and steel-toed boots (these ARE important), a gothic tshirt (like an old Black Sabbath or Alice Cooper tshirt) that's well-worn and slightly faded, and whatever accessories appeal to your idea of 'goth'.

I would wear some chain pants or at least black pants, black nail polish,some type of shirt with maybe a band on it or a plain black shirt,as for shoes wear combat boots or some converse that are all black,spike your hair if you can and maybe dye it black, if you have a chain choker that would work well also

go to the local thrift store and look for a long black trench coat, get chains for your black pants and wear studded jewelry (or the ones that look like a dog collar with the spikes) oh and dye ur hair black, you can get not permanent colors at a drug store. Um...what else...?? wear black eye liner too, and get those "arm warmers" they're like gloves but they have no finger wholes in them (make sense?) and just go all black...have fun!

Bondage pants - about 50 dollars at hot topic. The best brand there is Trip pants. (Not sure if its spelled Trip or Tripp.) Also, try some spikey collars and chains.

Put on some Guyliner, do something crazy with your hair. Wear black and grey clothes and some NEW ROCK shoes if you have any.

hah, well go to Hottopic, thats a good store for Dark Minded people, and look around, don't wear black lipstick, you'll look stupid.

tight leather pants....they are really hott and im not even a goth.....spikey chain belt....choaker................short sleve black shirt with something on the front and black chucks
