yep ... and your beloved Darth Cheney and his ventriloquist's dummy Dubya would be just the ones to institute such a measure with your backing if they thought they could get away with it. however, America is armed to the teeth and an operation such as you describe wouldn't go smoothly enough to not be noticed by those Americans who still possess a conscience and a sense of what America truly means.

Wake up to what exactly?? Wake up to how many lives have been lost in this 'war on terrorism' or how much money has been wasted funding it??? Yes. We have a historical precedent. FDR rounded up the Japaneese during WWII and placed them in internment camps until the war was over. He was concerned that they would be disloyal to America. A very close parallel to Dems/Libs today as we fight the war on terror.
