I've have connections to a young nine year old boy who is currently dying of cancer. With no hope, and only one month to live, people asked this boy what he wanted before he passed away. He replied that he wanted to see how many Get Well Soon cards he could recieve and is now trying to get into the Guiness Book of World Records.

I don't know him personally, but to help contribute to his cause, I've gotten a card but I don't know what to write on the inside. I don't want to write anything that says "get well soon" or "hope you'll get better" b/c it will only reinforce the fact that he WON'T get any better.

any suggestions on what i can write?

That's a tough one. Write from your heart wihtout implying death. Mention what touched you about him. Mention u do want his days beautiful and wholesome and fulfilling...and mention how he must be positive no matter what and that he is in your thoughts.

Best wishes, xoxo
you could even wish him luck with setting the record with the cards

Tell him to never lose hope, to live life to its fullest, that you are thinking of him, and that you hope you can help his card collection.
