Well I think the first place to look is the offensive line...if the QB has no time to get the ball away...he wont likely have a good option and the WR wouldn't even have a chance from the start, so I have to give the most percentage there. But as far as the individual on the offensive line...nah, none of them are really important and I think it's stupid that they make that much money actually. It's all about the chemistry they have together and the coaching they recieve...but that's my opinion. Other than the line...the QB and WR deserve just about equal percentage of importance (Although I'll use New England as an example). Tom Brady changes receivers on every play who is his favorite...creating a situation where perhaps he is more important than the WR...but if you look at my favorite team...Carolina...without Steve Smith...Delhomme might not be worthy of starting on an NFL team (And still may not be)..making Smith the most important...so I'll give them even numbers for that....

How about 40% Offensive Line....30% QB....30% WR

I know alot of experts will disagree,And some may even agree but I say 40% Offensive Line, 25% Quarterback, 35% Wideouts,
You ask why? No QB will be effective if he's constantly eating Turf and getting Powered Slamed. The QB can put Every pass on the money if the reciever don't catch it, it's incomplete. Truly Great recievers can make QB's look good by catching the ball 2 yds behind the line of scrimage and running 98 yds for a TD, now the QB has thrown for 98 yds but didn't even throw the ball pass the line of scrimage. But it take all 3 to work together for the the passing game to be effective, and a strong running game will be a big help to the passing game, but the running game like the passing game starts with the OFFENSIVE LINE!

Offensive Line - 50% The O-line is the life-blood of any offense it would not count number once you've L.T., Jim Brown, or Jesus interior the decrease back field. without the large boys in the front doing their job, you're going nowhere operating decrease back - 35% obviously the operating decrease back is significant, the acceptable celebration of this would nicely be considered interior the Denver Broncos. This crew shows that the O-line is maximum significant interior the actual shown truth that they have got one or 2 a million,000 backyard rushers each season, yet at the same time as that they had Terrell Davis they were breaking off 2,000 backyard seasons and prevailing Superbowls. It takes a obviously tremendous operating to make a reliable operating sport an elite one. Quarterback - 15% maximum individuals below estimate the cost of the Quarterback interior the operating sport. truly without the probability of a passing sport, there will be no operating sport. this does no longer advise it really is priceless to have Dan Marino interior the backfield airing it out, yet you do ought to modern-day some type of arial probability to the protection. in case you do not they could load 8 or 9 adult men into the field (section between the tackles) and prevent any operating sport. it would not count number how reliable your O-line and RB are if the D can finished concentration on the run.

The greatest thing about football is that everybody needs to play their part for the team to succeed. So all three of them have equal importance in the passing game. Because if the offensive line doesnt hold up the qb wont get the ball away. And if the quaterback doesnt throw a good pass the receiver wont catch it. And if the qb throws a good but the wide receiver drops it the play doesnt even count.

1. OL---70%...nothing happens if the OL can't protect the QB, its just that simple

2. QB---20%...he has to make the throws, obviously, but they are much more successful when he has time to stand in the pocket, go through his reads, pick the right receiver, and deliver an accurate pass

3. WR---10%...wideouts have to finish the play by catching the ball and they have to get open, but once the ball is in the air they are at the mercy of the defense...if the defender makes a great play on it, there's nothing they can do about it, perhaps the QB could have made a better throw

irst, I don't think you broke it down enough.
1. Center - has to make a clean snap or the play can break down
2. Offensive line - primary duty of keeping the pass rushers from breaking up the play and getting to QB
3. RB - just in case a rusher gets through, he MUST make the block
4. QB - AFTER getting a clean snap, has to find the best receiver for the play and make a good throw. If the play breaks down in any manner, it is up to him to still try to make the play produce or keep the busted play from harming the offensive production
5. The Receiver, whether he be, WR, TE, RB or Tackle eligible - after all is said and done, whether the play works perfectly or breaks down in some manner, if the QB throws what is referred to as a catchable pass(what is a catchable pass? Put your own definition here.) HE MUST CATCH THE BALL.
I'll give them all the same percentage.
Any ONE in the play can mess up and the play can fall apart.
Conversely, if the play were to begin to unravel or break down in any way, anyONE of them can be key to producing some kind of success from the play.
I won't go into the detail(s) of how a busted play still can be made to produce; there are too many different scenarios.

Its pretty even but there are exceptions. Qbs who are exceptional can do well without recivers like Tom Brady. Qbs like Michael Vick and VY do well without amazing lines. And Wrs like T.O. and Santana Moss make plays without an amazing Qb. I think Qb is most important 50%. Lineman 35% and WR the last 15%

OL 60% Without time to throw there is no passing game look at the texans raiders and lions
QB 30% just look at brady even without recievers the passing game still worked. Farve is always looking for recievers
WR 10% As long as they can hang on to a ball thats all that matters.
look at moss in oakland, or the mess in detriot or texans. Good recievers no line and no line qb.

QB 55%
WR 30 %
OL 15%

Because a team with good WRs good line and bad QB wont be able to do anything but a good QB good WRs and bad OL can manage to throw fast and find the WRs. The WRs are also important but with good protection a nice QB can find an open WR even if they are not that good.
