I think that it is a waste of time for the goverment to wn it and keep it going

If it was just starting up I'd definately say NO. But, with the whole system set up and in place with very, very little error--I definately say YES!

If we try to convert to a privatized system, it would likely have some serious problems--it's probably not as easy as they make it look. Afterall, they've been doing it for a few hundred years. A shamble with postal delivery would slow the ecomony; over-burden our court system even more; and likely get some people killed.

Absolutely. The United States Postal System works.

Give it to the hands of a privately or publicly traded company...and watch out.

Competition is a wonderful thing. Even our federal government had to find ways to make a dog like the postal service operate more efficiently. Just think how good it would be if we excluded the feds altogether?
