It's very cool at night, enough to chill your bones if not properly dressed.

In the daytime it is very comfy.

If you go up into the mountains, then you need to have clothes for colder and windier.

If you step into a river, even during the summer, you will find out what really cold is like, and then you will wish you had brought another pair of boots and socks for when the ones you have get wet.

Don't forget your DEET. Big mosquito country.

Don't tease the moose, pepper spray won't save you with them.

Might work on a bear, but the Canadians won't let you bring it in, and you will need the worst pepper spray made.

Bring your Atlatl, 10-day Camping Lantern, hatchet, signal mirror, and satellite telephone (if you have one).

Bring stuff that you need for making a fish dinner or doing things with blueberries.

Don't forget robaxisal, aspirin and other first aid kit stuff, all available locally OTC in any town before you hit the boonies.

Lemon juice for the fish, quick grits, bacon, beans &c.

Let them know where you are going, what to do if you are not back by @#%&, eh?

Don't forget your fishing gear!

And your Wilderness Survival Book.
