If there are so many sponges in the Ocean, why don't they soak up more of the water and lower the sea level?

I agree with the guy above me. But, the thing is, there is s much water in that giant ocean, all those sponges will lower the sea level by such a miniscule amount, we probably wouldn't even notice--maybe...

Everyone that read this question is dumber having read it...

Unless the sponges absorb the water and you remove them from the ocean, it will not affect sea level at all....
