If you were living apart and your girlfriend told you she wants to move closer to you, to your city. Even though my boyfriend and I have discussed the possibility, he is at hte moment looking for a job near my city but he is so stressed out with his current job, he has not been in a very good mood. The other possibility is if it does not work out for him to get a job near here, I will go to his country. However, I have the feeling he has been focusing on his job situaiton too much and when I mention that we should discuss my move, he says we can but don't do this only for me please.

If you were my girlfriend, then yes, I'd be happy you'd be moving closer, especially to another country. He's probably feeling somewhat responsible for you since you're moving for him.
