get the Mr clean magic erasers.......these things are great, I like the ones in the the pink/purple box..............am not impressed with the new foaming ones.........

give them a try, works well on ALL types of floor including wood

Rubbing alcohol works and doesn't seem to harm linoleum.

But it is flammable. So I would open the window and only process a few square feet at a time, letting it evaporate between sessions.

yes, i tried using nail polish remover. usually thant works. then when it dries if its not a sensitive floor, use some haarsh soap of some sort jsut to get off the residue. if its a sansitive floor, you can use a mild shampoo just like in your hair. it SHOULD work based on the fact that its a hair product. hehe your welcome

I just use my regular pine sol type cleaner. But I wash my bathroom floor on my hands and knees! No mop in there - I want it super clean!

Try a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar. If that doesnt work, reduce amount of water in mix and try again.

I use rubbing alcohol, then wash over it with soap and water then rinse with plain water.

I've used hot water with ****-N-Span.....no problems.
