It's stretching ligaments in your stomach. Hurts, doesn't it.

Sometimes they are so bad they can drop you to your knees. The baby is growing and pushing, and those muscles are trying to fight back. Eventually they just give it up, but you may be tender throughout the whole pregnancy. Nothing to panic about, though.

ya i had pain, like constant bad cramping on my right side, kinda middle low, people were telling me i was having an etopic pregancy and blah blah, pppl just like to freak u out-it was nothing-normal growing pains. Cramps are normal. That was around 2-3 months pregant. Now Im at 5.5 months pregant and I have cramps allllllll the time, constant, again ts just growing pains-like my stomach is too heavy and gravity is pulling it down. Cramps are normals-make sure you have no blood (little blood is often ok still...should check out if you have blod, but cramps, unless they are really super bad, its prolly just growing pains

if it goes away just as quickly as it comes on and is usually from a sudden movement, its round ligament pain. the round ligament is what stabilizes your uterus, there is one on each side and it connects to your hip bone.
